Sometimes it can be a shock to hear that we don’t accept Insurance as a form of payment at Endurance Athletes Physical Therapy and Sport Performance, LLC. Even though this business model is becoming more prevalent, many people need to hear the reasons behind “Cash Based Physical Therapy”, and how this is the most valuable treatment model for you.

Healthier and Happier YOU
Physical therapists who work in clinics that depend on insurance contracts and reimbursement do not have the ability to put you first. They have to see at least 2 patients per hour – usually many more! They use technicians, students, and aides to treat you because they have to see so many people in a day. Sometimes they are forced to use modalities to buy themselves some time to see more patients at the same time. PTs in those other clinics bill your treatment session their full price, even if they didn’t see you at all. This makes for less hands on care during your treatment session, more appointments needed, more time to find out what is really causing your pain and more time to treat the cause of your pain. It also makes for more a more stressed and busy PT, unable to give you the attention you deserve and require. This isn’t the fault of the PT – it’s the system that has evolved due to insurance constraints and decreased payment for patient care.
I will not allow insurance companies, and those who work for the insurance company with no healthcare background, to dictate what care you need. At Endurance Athletes Physical Therapy and Sport Performance, LLC, you will receive the best, most effective and most efficient care that is specific to your unique needs.
I believe that you are special with individual needs that require personalized care, and 100% of my attention. Manual therapy and hands – on care is more effective than modality based care and requires one on one treatment sessions. When you are performing exercises to fix the cause of your movement based injury or issues, you require my skilled eyes giving you input on how you are moving, what you are doing well and what we can change to make the exercise effective. When you perform these exercises without skilled feedback, many times, the exercises are not working as well or even at all what you need. There is no point in performing exercises that are not benefiting you. When you have perfected therapeutic exercises that I prescribe, there is no reason to come in and perform them in front of me, therefore you won’t be billed for time doing things that you can independently perform at home. This allows us more time to progress your care quicker and in a more cost-effective way.
At Endurance Athletes Physical Therapy and Sport Performance, LLC, you will always receive one on one care. The combination of being seen only by a board certified sports physical therapist, with a doctorate in physical therapy and significant advanced training, will allow you to be treated more effectively, with the least amount of appointments necessary, to progress to back to the sport you love and prevent future injuries. Through this care, you will require less sessions due to the individualized treatment and personalized care, you will save money, time and frustration in the long run. This is the value I expect for my own care and what I promise to you.
